I cant abide criticism without some kind of plan
being offered as an alternative, so I suppose that I am bound to do
that here very soon, but the intention is to only frown
where a smile can take its place.

1. Assume you have a loan or a credit card with a
bank. They dont want you going elsewhere. So they erroneously or very over
stringently flag your Experion and Equifax files as bad flag this month. Hey
presto, not only can you not get credit elsewhere, but the unscrupulous ones say
youve got bad credit flags on Experion and Equifax, we will do you a loan but
its got to be at higher rate.

Ive had 14 months of hell with this and I actually LOOK at Experion and am
forewarned. Many dont even understand what it is, or where it is, or what to do.
You may use any details of my debacle. I tried the times money plus watchdog and

2. Scam involving phones. You may well be
aware of the insidious practices of premium rate lines. What you may not be
aware of, and I know for fact through the
programming networking grapevine, is that big comms
firms split the profits on premium rate
lines with the firm involved. So all these endless menus, non
truncatable and with no jump to the operator in
human form until four levels in are purely to make money for the firm and their
comms supplier.
The longer youre on the more you pay, and they keep
you on there, as long hanging on as humanly possible.

They even have the brass neck to put complaints lines on premium rate. So if
they genuinely screw up, even if you eventually get reimbursed or
resupplied, youve spent a fortune getting it done
via the premium rate phone. Why do you think they keep telling you to ring back
in a week, or nothing is done over and ever over. To keep
you ringing back, chink of money in, thanks dummy,
is why.

This insidious practice has now been extended to credit cards. Much as
the liar blair uses arcane threats of terrorism to gradually enforce martial law
by paramilitary police, given dictatorial laws, with wide ranging vaguely defined
catch all clauses, by the moron Clarke, in the name of security. So the banks
offer up the awful spectre of id fraud, credit card
abuse by superhuman beings who abound at every turn and
who would not abound if their own security was not a joke.

So what do the banks and credit card firms come up
with to boost the takings. Why payment declined of course. How many times
lately have you had payment declined refer to your
credit card supplier quoted at you from somewhere.

Guess what, though its your credit card you are using, within your limit,
legally, not only is it refused, sometimes causing great embarrassment, but you
are asked to phone in ON A PREMIUM RATE LINE. So they are acting like Hitler
treating you like an unruly child, because of your security issues you see, and at the
same time wasting your time and money phoning in to authorise
the transaction. After which it is usually followed by a sales pitch for other
products, which you dont want but take up yet more air time.
What a rip off. If the credit card system is insecure
it is not our fault the system is bananas, but the people who supplied it in the
first place. If we can be so easily ripped off as to be vulnerable every bloody
time we want to use it then our system wants to be sorted, not the suffering customers.


The ongoing appalling decline and malaise in service standards I think
deliberate, in all firms with premium rate lines, to make sure you have to
endlessly phone. They make even more money if the product or service is shoddy,
than if it worked perfectly, end of story stum.

was seen as completely impartial, a beacon of hope, British civil servants were always
notoriously inscrutable. Now they are like Pravda and quiet red army
infiltrated by blair cronies or threatened over license fees.

Cant blair be tried for treason, or impeached for it,
he has lied us into a war where our people are getting killed,
lied over personally seeing arms caches etc when major inspecting this said he
hadnt seen them, this direct to the house.
He lied over the Queen Mothers funeral, to be put down by Black Rod, now it
seems he lied over Goldsmith.
Seemingly its harder to spot when hes telling the truth.

He also chaired the outing David Kelly meeting yet was not responsible for his
suicide. how can you chair something then not be responsible. Could I even write
this of past Prime Ministers without being sued for libel. Maybe ill get put
under house arrest without trial in our new, free, enlightened land.

Hes trying to make the Royal Family a laughing stock
by giving out duff advice, thankfully the Queen distanced herself from it all. Quite simply, it
was designed to make a mockery of monarchy, no doubt still simmering over Black
Rod putting him in his place, and exposing another blatant lie in the process, over
trying to muscle in on the Queen Mothers funeral. Plus he was well annoyed at
how the Jubilee year was such a runaway success.

People may moan about the monarchy but there is deep
down a respect plus allegiance to the Queen and to this country. Use this just as
he underestimates it.

You are doing much better, remember blair is
genuinely HATED and reviled as liar, its just there was nothing opposing him.
So OPPOSE him.

Whilst many may feel Prince Harry to be completely out of
control, with some justification in my opinion, his recent act
is more the action of this thoughtless dopehead fool than a sinister plot.
What I think now is somewhat sinister is the announcement today of a Commons
investigation into his advisors.

Charles I had a similar Commons checkout.

Surely it is the Monarchy who should conduct any
such questioning, perhaps by an external body appointed
by themselves.

I see this as direct interference by the State,
to whit the twit Blair, in attempting to discredit our Monarchy
via the actions of this very young, foolish, and not too bright
boy. It would well suit our would be President to have
no Royal Family, to continue his communism via
the back door, and third world postal elections.

If your son had apologised, would you want him to be
made to grovel in public, however stupid he had been.

There is a good case for questions to be asked of his
so called advisors, as many people have been justifiably
aghast at this gaffe, but not for the commons, namely the liar
Blair to poke their nose in.

Perhaps having Prince Phillip in your bloodline sets
a somewhat dubious precedent, stupidity and lack
of thought surely, but hardly deliberately malicious.

His brother had the guts to say he was as much at
fault and culpable in not forewarning him, but
at the end of the day it is surely the advisors who
carry the brunt of the blame. If your own son
chose this garb, it would not be out of hatred,
but out of ignorance, and you would have to put
him right on the historical significance and potential
serious consequences, after all, our history is banned
in our schools so how are they to know.


Perhaps Blair is still annoyed at being frozen out of the Queen
Mothers funeral prime position he envisaged for himself,
the same Queen Mother he cant find a plinth for in Trafalgar
square. No doubt that is earmarked for Lenin or a Tracy Emmin tent.


I think that I and lot of this country would cheer to hear words like patriotism is
a fine thing, pride in your country is natural, Christmas WILL be celebrated
with Christmas cards, bunting, carols, Easter WILL have Easter eggs, national
achievements in the sporting arena and fields WILL be loudly applauded and
trumpeted. It is as if we are becoming ashamed to be English Scots Welsh or
Irish, the words you cannot put on government forms because British pink and
British green with purple spots have to be catered for. We are ALL ENGLISH SCOTS
WELSH IRISH wherever we originally came from, because we all live here TOGETHER.
You should not even be paid to play sport for your country, it should be an
honour. If we live here then we are part of our country, which has history plus
traditions and pride, whether Scots, Irish, Welsh or English we have
always stuck together against formidable odds and won.
New arrivals should come here and realise in doing so they become English Scots
Irish or Welsh, not grey acronyms on beurocracys fawnings to political correctness, which only
antagonises the public at large unnecessarily, by creating more divisions than
cohesions.
Too much stess is placed on people having to be forced to be so tolerant, people
are by nature tolerant, it just focuses on the fact that there are minorities in the
first place by mentioning it, and no one likes being forced or told constantly what to do.
If you leave people alone they get on fine in the end.
Religions do not usually promote fragmentation but preach harmony unless
hijacked for destabilising purposes, have we learned nothing from centuries of
protestant v catholic. We all get on fairly well now dont we.
How many votes would rally to the flag of their country rather than a drab grey
officialdom well down the road to a socialist, communist third world state with
third world amenities and corruption.
STEP INTO THIS VOID PROCLAIMING THIS LAND NOW IS OUR LAND, and you will be heralded
as savior of a proud history and tradition that is being piecemeal dismantled
before our very eyes.
COMMON SENSE and PRIDE not beurocracy and fear.
WAVE THE FLAG and put PRIDE back in its rightful place. We saved the world from
Hitler and are now slowly gaining a Gestapo police and imprisonment without any trial
without even squeaking in any protest. I HATE LOATHE and DETEST
blair and his cohorts for what they are doing to this once free and proud
land. Maybe Blair should send his sons into the army with the view to active
service. Maybe he should send them to some of the third rate schools he has created, or
have a lengthy stay in a hospital with a few open wounds, always assuming the
ambulances dont get stuck in a three week traffic jam funding his petrol taxes.
I believe EVERYONE hates a liar, bighead, and man
fond of his own voice who patronises others he deems beneath him. You dont need
an iq of 161 to know
someone is deceitful, dishonest and self seeking. But you and all your party sit on
the fence of appeasing all. You should put the knife into this man and you would
have an army of followers and cavalry from the countryside.
You are too tame hearted for toppling, too reasonable ever to riot, and too nice up front to be nasty. Churchill
was ruthless against this very ruthless enemy, would you rather be Churchill or
Chamberlain.

People want positive opposition to positive things they hate.
I.e. council tax, casinos, black watch fiasco, train services, roads, speed
cameras, nanny state, browns fiscal bungling see this months worst ever
recorded figures.Plus there is a complete indifference to public turmoil
and despair that is going to be engendered by lax credit card rules, lax
loans, 9xsalary mortgages, all day gambling, all day drinking. Plus as law and
order is non existent unless you
stand up for yourself and get sued by a mugger how are the police going to cope
with increased drunkenness and increased theft due to over extended credit card
holders, cannabis users, gamblers and drinkers. To say nothing of the fact that the
prime minister is a liar known to be so, yet people still will vote for him.
Something is wrong if you cannot topple a known liar from office. Opposition
should fiercely oppose, not ameliorate, you dont win anything by sitting on your fence.
The honesty and truth is the right direction, but you have to put your head over
the parapet and fire few meaningful shots as well. Black watch, gambling,
drinking, cannabis, card and loan credit are horrendous mistakes. Also stress
the immigration figures are NETT of those coming in AND THOSE LEAVING. Free born
Englishmen are leaving in droves for France and Portugal,
whilst eastern European gypsies are descending like locusts. I know many long
established ethnic people here, who are of the same mind, it isnt the colour or
creed it is simply there is only so much space and most do not want to work or
contribute, just freeload. I think there is more resentment of this from ethnic
minorities than from whites. It is not racist in wanting to know why scroungers are
getting handouts who have never even lifted a pen or pickaxe. The reason so
very many are being let in is to rig the election, so they vote labour, just as
the regional postal voting is really vote rigging like a third world dictatorship. We
need hard line opposition else we will have them win next time, and that will be
that, in forever, no real elections ever again, no house of lords no monarchy,
and no tradition, just blairland. Why the hell dont you stand up and be counted
against this corrupt and lying vermin. The country want someone to vote for,
which is why the ukip is doing well, everyone HATES blair but where is your
presence to them, where is your alternative. On nearly every subject there is
dithering or confusion. SAY WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR. Even lie if you have
to, its only fighting fire with bloody fire, they lie about EVERYTHING. This country
HATES blair and his grey state control blairdom, you should channel that resentment towards yourselves
by POSITIVE policies and FORCEFUL STANCE, as you wont win by being reasonable
joe anyway. To win you have to put your life on the line at times, now is that very time.


There is an insidious tendency with this shower in power to denigrate anything
smacking of national pride. Anything to do with our heritage, elite achievements
of which we should all be proud, our history seems to always have to be subjugated to
minimalisation or dumbing down in deference to others. This actually assumes
others will take offence, which is not the case. Any free man loves his country
of birth and allows that other free men will do the same, no matter where they
all come from. It is surely natural to take a pride in your own country, and to
identify with its achievements, both past and present, plus indeed to note the
failures and why they occurred. How things could have been done better with
hindsight achieves moving forwards in the present with greater enlightenment,
yet our history seems to be a taboo option to be merged with geography, and we
have to ask others permission to celebrate Christmas or Trafalgar. How utterly
absurd that is, as other countries and their residents do not have the slightest
problem with it whatsoever, except to note it is disturbing that the one country
known throughout the world for fairness and the freedom of speech is now being
surreptitiously eroded and gagged by its own pathetic, lying, twist the facts,
twist the truth, slur anyone who gets in the way, excuse for a Government.

If you put twenty people in a living room in this country, and they are ALL
different colours races and creeds, by and large they will all get on, without
external provocation and meddling, or people telling them what to think, or
passing laws so they can sue one another or to protect them from one another. We
are all sufficiently old and wise to be able to converse with each other rationally
without someone assuming we are too stupid now to be able to co exist without laws
being passed to make bloody sure we will. Few people in this country are too utterly
unreasonable to co exist in the long term, yet the liar Blair and his cohorts
seem to think we need to be dictated exactly how to behave and what to do.

Put the same twenty people in the same room and put another two hundred in it as
well, and everyone will get very agitated and very aggressive. Why. Not because
some are pink with blue spots and some are yellow with brown spots. No. It is
purely and simply overcrowding creates aggressive behavior. It is in no way
racial, it is just the common sense that there is only so much space and it is
already pretty full, so you dont cram in more. Yet any voice raised in this
country against more and ever more immigration is shouted down as racism. There exist
areas where four or five different races are saying the same as I have just
said, it is not that they are racist, it is purely there is only so much space
to go around and it is nearly saturated. But this government would prefer it
were seen as if racism, as it deflects from the fact that they are incompetent at
everything they attempt and would rather it were seen as racist views to hide
the plain fact they have lost control of our borders and havnt clue who is actually
here, some little disturbing in the light of terrorism to all of us, whatever our
colour and original nationality.
Perhaps America with all its space and its propensity for producing refugees
wherever it invades could assimilate more, after all we are helping them
when we should be occupied in helping ourselves.

Other groups are actually saying it is nonsense to put down Christmas in a
Christian country and not to celebrate our history in our own land. Even the
Rugby team were only allowed their celebration at the last minute and then only to
jump on the bandwagon, not as celebration of National pride, or else why hold
it on a Monday plus why was there no National holiday to allow everyone to
partake. This Government has stopped us putting English, Scottish, Irish or
Welsh on forms in our own land, everyone has to be British now, another attempt
to WELD us to their mould where everyone is exactly the same, exactly pliable,
and exactly theirs, so to thank them for that pathetic attempt in celebrating our
sporting triumph would seem inappropriate. They would rather you were grey state British and
preferably we didnt compete against others. The wild success of the Queens
Jubilee year they predicted as disaster plus the Rugby Teams colossal victory
showed the true level of enthusiasm and national pride they would rather we did
not have, and try to suppress and dilute at every possible opportunity, as such
they are not fit to rule in our name as they treat this country with no pride
and no heart, just a grey blanket over tradition, an officious rubber through
any pencil marks of our proud and honourable past. Most of the free world whether
they love or hate this country acknowledge their right to free speech was down
to one country not so long ago, but our rulers would have us forget that and be
good little state sheep. Just keep quiet and pay your taxes, and we will
squander them on your behalf.

The more EVERYONE in this country holds on to their beliefs and nationalities,
wherever from originally, the less that these manipulators can try to make us
all the same. We dont need laws to keep us from each other, we need laws and
their backing up to keep us all safe from violence, burglary and drugs, not
victim culture laws designed to set one against another, as it suits them to see
us bicker, as again it deflects attention from the real issue of total
incompetence for enforcing law and order. Surely laws saying you must get on
with each other actually only incite more friction, I think that suits them
fine, to see us squabble, forgetting what they are up to, for now. Most of the palpably
ludicrous laws being passed are sops to the fact that they would never have got
elected without the support of many minority groups, who now want their
pound of flesh, so the rest of us
look on in amazement as we are taxed more than ever before by thieves who said
they would never raise income tax, and see it all wasted on paper shuffling
jobs to hide the true level of unemployment. Huge amounts of tax have been
raised, more than ever before, borrowing is at record levels via Mr Brown, the
genius who not only borrows more than ever recorded before but gets it 11
billion in error and has to borrow that as well. I seem to remember a solemn
pledge we would be told on an ever ongoing basis just what it was spent on,
especially as in the case of the NHS who were going to always prove to us they
were improving to get the money. So where are the accountabilities, where are
the reports we are all going to see, where are the checks and counterbalances.
In the super efficient post. These liars convene investigations at great expense so as to be
able to say that they cannot comment until the report is out, given also that it
is their lackeys doing the reporting. Our money is being poured into a black
hole of beurocracy and funding of reports into why that beurocracy is wasting
the bulk of the money, whilst the remainder is given out in wage rises to unions
who they cannot oppose as they are funded by them.

There is nothing like the racism depicted in lawsuits present in this country,
no, the main grievance EVERYONE in this country has is with INCOMPETENCE at the
highest level plus LIES and SLURS to try and dig plus wheedle their way out.
I never met a man who knew his job inside out and was professional about it that
had to lie in the slightest, he didnt have to, he was good at what he did, yet
to these it is a way of life, because they are useless and led by an egotistical
liar in chief.

The motorist is virtually being told, hand over your wallet, on entering a car,
yet the roads are rubbish, and the money raised is used elsewhere.

The people are being crushed by council tax yet the services are under funded
and crumbling, pensioners are marching on London.

The transport system is being funded like never before yet is ailing, in fact
labour plan to ADD TIME to journey times to make out they arent really late any
more, its not late its just we underestimated the time for a journey. What
colossal cheek to think we are so stupid as to swallow that.

If the Army had been given any of these tasks, or the Navy or the Air Force,
would they fail. In fact if ANYONE with merely an ounce of common sense were given such
tasks would they ever fail. The armed forces at present manage to fight other peoples
wars on our behalf with peashooters and paper uniforms, so if we gave them all
money the Rail, NHS and Transport are getting, or even gave them half of the total
council tax they could probably rebuild the whole country with it pro rata,
given their achievements in war with nothing.

We have to ask, with the levels of taxation, defence cutbacks, council tax,
record Government borrowing, huge motoring penalties, including subsidising
victims of crime if you are caught speeding, that where on earth is all this
money going, and has any public service dramatically improved as result.

It all goes to placate the ever more militant union bosses and to fund paper
jobs like smoking coordinator or litter watchers so as to cover up the fact that
there is around four to five million who are effectively unemployed and large
proportion of real jobs are going out of this country overseas. They have
fuelled the economy on credit card and loan spending, another illusion from the
master illusionists. It is the only thing they are professional at, illusion and
subterfuge, but at the end of the day our film stops playing and we hanvt got
any more credit left, as in we have huge bills whilst they are discredited, but
who is going to continue and pay after they are gone, and will some fools elect
them again some way down the line, as I refuse to believe that even with all
their efforts to flood this country with multitudinous immigrants with no historical
connection with this country purely so they will vote labour next time, that
this country will be so incredibly stupid as to re elect such an incompetent
crew of dreamweavers.

I despaired of any future here, but at last this sane man has emerged in Michael
Howard. I have no great love of any political party any more but at least he
stands for something more than sycophantic groveling at the Blair altar of lies,
fabrications and character assassinations, at least let us hope so, for what is
needed in this country now is straight talking, common sense and actions, not
dissembling, incompetence and hot air. If we are going to pay these huge levels
of taxation then let us see some real action for it, let us see the transport,
law and order plus NHS for a kick off start to function, and let us give our
armed forces the chance to operate without one arm being tied behind its back
and not being led by a foolish egotistical lapdog. There is nothing fundamentally wrong
with this country that cannot be remedied, it is just we are governed by
dangerously incompetent people at present who say anything and do nothing at all
except incite unrest by the simple expedient of being demonstrably stupid in
public, and perceived to be devious in private.
How can anyone give credence to a bunch who embraced the career liar and
manipulator Alaistair as their charm guru.

It is time we all learned that it is pointless even listening to a word Blair or his
cronies utter as they have zero credence nor liklihood of resemblance to the truth
than Father Christmas, given it is allowed to mention his name still without a
tax, sorry fine. England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and Britain as whole are
ok, its the people in power over us who are losing it big time.

Voting.

Many assume that the current chaotic farce that is the supposed asylum policy is
just down to incompetence. Whilst being run by those to whom that is not
entirely alien, it should also be noted that people granted asylum tend to vote
for the party which granted it in the first place. Also recently it was found
that most sixteen to eighteen year olds would vote labour if they could vote.


Curiously, asylum figures are the highest ever, and the voting age is being
mooted as being lowered to sixteen by the Government. That is obviously just a
massive coincidence, and in no way reflects Tony, who loves us all, when he
originally said on coming to power he would change the face of politics in
Britain for ever. One is confused whether this alludes to the crushing and
abandonment given centuries of tradition and of traditional posts, such as the Lord
Chancellor, and House of Lords, or whether it is to do with the asylum vote, or
the extra young vote, or the abdication of power in deference to Brussels, or
the omission of boxes on forms stating English, Irish, Scots or Welsh. Perhaps it
has to do with the proposed proportional representation, maybe the invention of
a President reporting directly to the public via the media press conference. Who
knows, it is all very confusing, however one thing is crystal clear, the Labour
party actually own the Rugby team that won the world cup, you know, the one
without a box on forms we fill in, and who reportedly sing carols in private,
though this has yet to be substantiated.

I supplant the original starting point of the Terrible State
of The Roads with this observation on drugs in this country.
I do not think we need to have many and varied surveys and studies
pointing out to us in their ever infinite wisdom, that after three
years research, that drugs actually fuel the rise in crime,
especially burglaries, and car thefts. It does not take
a genius to work out that if you have a sixty pound a day habit
and no job, then you steal to fund the habit. Apparently this
has had to be proved. Given that is the case, it is no use expecting
it to be confined to certain areas and certain types of people.
THIS MEANS YOU. Eventually it will spread its net wider and ever
wider, as after some while there is only so much in an area that
CAN be stolen and sold on. It will get to us all, and neighbourhoods
at present deemed Quiet or trouble free will soon change.
To me that is obvious, perhaps less obvious is why are youngsters
for increasingly large percentages of their own generations using
these drugs and alcohol. What is missing that needs to have
a buzz, or a boost, whereas others from our generations to
a certain extent were using the same things at much lesser
level, much less often and very often with definable and well known
reasons and triggers. I would put forward one culprit, fuelled by one
aim. Television
run purely as means to satisfy greed. Television could be
hugely beneficial to educate and enliven things we could never
get to see for ourselves, but consider the fare being offered up now.
Viewing figures are paramount, and not above being noticed a long
time ago, re network film with Peter Finch brilliantly portraying
a man cracking up, and the more he cracks up the more air time
they give him. This was an extreme example of TV gone mad.
Incidentally, this would pass as OK in todays slack stance.
Now consider what we have today. We have a predominance of
soaps. Just holding off in the ratings, shows
of a BIG BROTHER SURVIVAL nature. One common denominator to all
of these is sheer BREVITY of the show on a NIGHTLY basis.
Like a drug being doled out at regular intervals. This to me
is important for you to grasp, THEY only have a limited time
to entertain, and you MUST NEVER CHANGE CHANNEL,
AS YOU WOULD MISS THE ADVERTS. PER SE SOMETHING
CATACLYSMIC MUST HAPPEN IN THE SECOND HALF TOO.
Thus if you were given that brief, Im sure you would come up
with the self same formula that they put forward. We must at
all times have something stunning, explosive, action packed,
appalling, exciting going on, which rushes along to climax
which is suddenly left in limbo for the NEXT PART. In other words
every single second of a thirty minute show is geared up to produce
the maximum adrenaline rush possible, and at the same time THEY
are constantly pushing back the barriers of decency to see how close
to virtually soft porn they can get away with, chipping away all the
time for chinks in the mental armour that says now thats a bit
too near the knuckle even for me. What was true in that
saying ten years ago now passes as old hat and is bandied as
our viewers want gritty drama. Im sure we all knew out here
at one time what gritty drama really was, but just as its easier
to get laughs with crude jokes or risqué humour, then so it is also
true it is cheaper to produce heavy swearing soft porn and tart
it up as gritty drama. The point seen here may ring a few scary alarm
bells, but once the TV set is on, a lot of common sense goes out of the
window. That is hardly surprising when you consider the huge, vast
even, amounts of advertising money which backs up all of this charade.
For the prime aim of Television as it exists today is purely TO SELL PRODUCTS
VIA ADVERTISING USING ONE OF THE MOST HYPNOTIC MEDIA
EVER INVENTED, to a public that secretly dreams of their
fifteen minutes of fame on that media, which is revered.
You do not pay something like 100 grand minute for adverts,
and not have them just a little sophisticated. Do you now.
If you were spending 100 grand minute of YOUR MONEY to sell
something I reckon you would employ some pretty slick
psychologists and ad people for that kind of cash. Wouldnt you.
Given that as the prime motive, the advert people must attach
their adverts to the prime time ultra prime movers and hence soaps,
and big brother type rubbish. The sole quality the advertising people
want, insist on, and get, for they call our tune in program content
as they pay all the wages, is extreme drama, intense mental hits
over an explosive thirty minutes punctuated only by the
commercial break. Note the word commercial. As in money.
So what is the point of the soaps as per the advertising
industry. Some would say it is solely their latching on aboard the
top ten programs which happen in the main to be soaps.
I think that it is more insidious.
Given that they are always the paymasters, surely they govern
what goes out at prime time. FOR IT IS THEIR PRIME TIME.
Their best chance of the day for this huge and captive audience.
They paint a visage of a world where ANYTHING can happen
at any INSTANT, and it is all EXTREME, WOW LOOK AT THAT.
And above all it is mainly NEGATIVES. Bad things happening,
violent and aggressive behavior seen as the norm, different
groups banding together for someone and against someone else.
It is all TOO TRUE, and TOO OFTEN and TOO INTENSE.
Real life is brilliantly portrayed in these dramas but it is not REAL
life. True real life can go days without a glimmer of fun. In real life it can
rain for days on end, or bills can seem to be endless, holidays a
million miles away. We all used to have hobbies and sports we
pursued as distraction from these deadly boring facts of
actual real life, but these are now cast aside in favour of the TV.
From this glimmer into what is really behind the soaps, SELLING
PRODUCTS IN THE COMMERCIAL BREAK, we begin to see
that the REASON WE ARE MADE TO FEEL OUR LIVES ARE
BORING AND HUMDRUM, is to SELL THINGS SUPPOSEDLY
EXOTIC, EXCITING, HEADY, TRENDY AND FUN. As in, that is the real life,
soaps, be like your soap idols, or be like your big brother idols,
where live sex is obviously the aim, and no doubt teenagers will
supply,
and it is cheaper and easier to promote fools on the TV than it is to
create award winning drama or emotionally educating things like
the thousand acres of sky just as an example. In any event its
only the BBC that stands between this type of usage and
complete descent into brainless brainwashing.
THE SOLE INTENT OF ADVERTISING MONEY FUNDED
TV IS TO PLANT A SEED OF WANT AND TELL YOU EXACTLY WHERE
YOU CAN GET IT. If this entails writing brilliantly contrived soap
dramas that amplify the artificial and make it more
agreeable than what is really and truly life as we know it,
THEY have no qualms about doing that.
If this should make our youth MORE SUSCEPTIBLE
TO TAKING DRUGS TO MIMIC THE ENDLESS HIGHS IN SOAPS,
then thats fine by them too, as it makes their JOB easier selling
to drugged up zombies that dont even need conditioning by TV.
All the TV does is be a willing tool for big advertising media to
spread their word. TAKE THE MONEY PUT OUT WHAT THEY WANT TO.
The BBC far from rebelling against this appalling use of a truly
useful educational media, simply pander along with the self same
slush in an attempt to beat them at what is their own game.
They havent got the money to beat them at this, their own game, and its OUR
MONEY THEY ARE SQUANDERING in the attempt. I think the BBC has an
obligation to oppose this trash and put out some meaningful dramas
and ditch its attempts to mimic soap opera and soap dramas.
BBC should can eastenders and all BIG BROTHER LIKE PROGRAMS,
and embark on a programme of re habilitation of the nation via
TV of the dire situation BROUGHT ABOUT by TV.
If the BBC did what the hell it was supposed to be doing, there
is a long tradition via BBC radio during wars, and some quality
still just remembered that might make people listen to their voice.
Im sure the BBC has decided that no more soap operas
will be aired in an attempt to help raise standards, announcement
would be quite sensational in its own right, and carry more kudos
than some jumped up advertising channel churning out dross
to appease its advertising overlords.
DRUGS ARE TAKEN as MEANS OF ESCAPE.
TV GIVES PEOPLE A VISION OF A WORLD TO ESCAPE AWAY
TO THAT DOESNT AND CANNOT EXIST BEYOND THE
BOUNDS OF A TV SCREEN hence dissatisfaction with everyday
life, hence kids saying, that is boring that is boring, NOTHING
is interesting for every second of thirty minutes, but the TV paymasters
would have you believe it CAN BE and certainly is in the world of soaps.
Trouble is they dont have to live in our world, they produce one of their own.
Also fostering the notion
IT CAN BE PAID FOR LATER WITH NOTHING, but that is
another story, PRODUCE THE DESIRE, FUND IT WITH MONOPOLY
MONEY, then who pays at the end of the day, mum and dad, or a very rude awakening to
your long life of work, or thieving jail.
ALL that is DUE TO THE TV ADVERTISING PAYMASTERS
INSTILLING A NEED FOR GREED, PAID ON WEED AT SPEED.

You can only consolidate bills so many times, then its forever work
it off or years in courts paying it back.
The true cost of great success is very hard work for quite a while.

It is no use buying now fall apart later goods out of mortgage
money, it is good money going to nothing, sooner or later it runs out.
You cannot keep gaining money off the back of real items, and
spending it on worthless junk which will depreciate to nothing.
All modern items for sale are INTENDED to
deteriorate, so you will have to
buy them again, and over again.

It is not the credit owed that is frightening, it is what it was spent on.
I try to buy things that will at the very least hold their value, if you buy
even a Ferrari with your wealth, in ten years it is worth NOTHING
in comparison to what you paid, and people are not buying anywhere
near Ferrari quality.

The spin off to all that is drug and drink taking to reach these artificial
highs the soaps achieve EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY THEY ARE ON.
The only way to get where they are at is via drugs and drink as the
things that are portrayed as normal and everyday are unattainable.

The old adage still applies There is no such thing as free meal

someone ends up paying in the end, at present it is the public
at large funding this drugs and drinks binge fuelled by DISSATISFACTION
WITH THE REAL WORLD, brought on by a vision of a mythical
world that does not exist, in order to sell goods.

The only drugs drink cures Ive ever known to work involve
substituting an INTEREST or HOBBY for the drugs and drink.
Something has to take its place, something has to fill the void
that drugs drink used to fill. I was a chronic chain smoking alcoholic.
I have an IQ of 161 and am very lucky in one way to have had
a Grammar School education, which sets its own expectations in
a somewhat different world to this one, and no amount of adverts on
TV, radio or in the papers, no amount of educational directives
have made, or would have made any impression on me.

Put simply I wanted to get back to normal, and Im tough enough now
to do it, and have done. But I come from a generation that
isnt saturated by garbage TV. I dont gear my life around TV episodes.
I dont grieve Ive missed a program, except Robbie Box in Big Deal once.
So I am at much better level playing field to kick off with, than these
kids weaned on dangerous stuff like corrie and eastenders.
But no amount of educational directives, and Government warnings
can achieve the effect one program by an ex druggie or ex alky
can portray in showing a hobby or interest, on prime time TV as being
INTERESTING.

No amount of Government money and adverts could be more influential
than the government of the day saying

watch what you like, but the BBC will no longer produce soaps or
any programs which portray life as we know it now in a different,
over exuberant, sensationalistic and disproportionate manner.
We believe this breeds discontent with everyday life as is, and intend to
produce instead a series of programs based on the interests and
hobbies plus activities which have rehabilitated REAL drug addicts
and REAL alcoholics and REAL gamblers to a pretty normal awareness
and attitude to the world around them. We feel that programs of a
Soap based nature tend to fuel irrational and unreachable goals in life
and are therefore dropping all of them as genre in favour of more quality
output, hopefully of a more informative nature, which is in any case
our brief, and our reason for being, and what the public pays us to do.

Surely this in itself is
ratings stuff.

And surely by now there must be millions needing the guidance of those
who have achieved what they would see as virtually impossible as of now.
I must admit, the TV culture is so heavily ingrained into todays
youth, even up to 25 and 30 years olds, that it would be hard for me
to take someone and try to get their head together again.
They have been so brainwashed into a live now pay later
lifestyle, both emotionally and financially, that the idea of waiting
for something to grow, or working at something long term
seems tedious, they want things NOW. and the TV has told them
that is not just possible, but easy. You want this, SURE, NO PROBLEM
You cant afford it, FINE PAY LATER ON, HAVE IT NOW.
The attention span is short, the tedium and boredom level fast. It has to
be fast, free, lively and then thrown away. Advertisers have to get
you to throw things away, so they can sell you some more, and before
they fall apart in your hands, as their built in obsolescence will decree.
I know a few old time East Enders. In my opinion
they should sue the BBC
for misrepresentation of character. Adam faith summed up the East End
values to me recently starring MURDER IN MIND. A tiny bit extreme, but I
still deal in handshakes, and word is my bond, derided now by many
little boys acting tough in gangs of twenty. Their time will come, alone.

The thing is we knew it was a play, or a film, these days now the
distinction is getting blurred, deliberately, to have you always imagine
you are REALLY THERE, and it is REAL. And once you
start thinking REAL you are on that slippery slope to
dissatisfaction with the real world and disillusionment with
what you perceive as being normal, and what actually is NORMAL.

DRUGS and or DRINKS fills this void for now, and will do until we address
the causes and not treat the effects. And it is not a problem that is
going away, rather quite a problem that is growing rapidly without check.



ROADS


Roads in Britain. Currently I have a major grievance,
the horrible state of our roads at present. I drive an old Jag,
and they are not renowned for the wheel bearings giving up very easily.
In fact now I will next week be having my THIRD wheel bearing
on the front axle in six months.
It takes quite a bit of a bang to make much impression
on a Jags suspension, but of late that has been no problem,
as the roads across Britain are pitted and potholed to hell.
This must cause a great deal of accidents as people tend
to swerve in order to avoid more damage and hence further costs.



In short the roads are awful.
that is because there is too much traffic.
It deteriorates quicker than can be repaired.
I often wonder if repairs are slow because traffic

jams use up a lot of petrol
and we all know who gains the most money
from wasted petrol.

That notwithstanding, a solution is not to raise
more money on top of the 160 quid a year
we are being fleeced for already,
but to approach the cause and not the effect.


Why not have a good transport infrastructure
Trains that are plentiful and run on time
Buses that are also plentiful and free of
yobbish behavior and actually clean.

Also I think that it would be a good idea to have a school bus
for ALL the children of ALL schools, hence no truancy, and no perverts,
and no drugs on the quiet way there and back.
plus NO CARS


The plain fact is that if there were a reliable clean,
efficient and punctual
Rail and Bus system, most people would gladly
leave the car at home.
Most parents would be relieved if there were
a viable bus service to get their kids to school
and back in one piece and
know that they actually went there
and not elsewhere,
and had the presence of
absolutely trustworthy adults.

Another thing would be the haulage could be done by trains,
taking the huge lorries OFF THE ROADS.

Video conferencing

Also in place of traveling could be meetings arranged
via pc diaries and hosted by web cameras, for big firms
who are paying out by the bucketful wastefully.
In place of executives traveling half the day for
hundreds of miles for a half hour meeting that
costs a fortune in expenses, stresses out everyone
involved, and clogs up the transport system.
Virtual meetings would cut out all of this.

I fume on the motorway when the government of the
day give you this sign at the end of a four hour delay
sorry for any inconvenience.
If they had to reimburse the petrol tax for everyone
caught up in it every day, then just maybe they would be truly sorry,
but the actual repairs seem to be way too frequent
and endless to resolve.
Maybe I am cynical, but if you were coining it in
whilst repairs were taking
place would you tend to hurry it along.




Telephone menus.

Similarly with the situation with the phones and menus,
it takes about three minutes and about 2 to three quid
on premium lines before you
even SPEAK TO ANYBODY. who gets all this money,
which is unavoidable and very expensive,
I bet shares in telephone
companies are not bad bet in the long
term given these horrendous monopolies
on our time and money via a captive
phone line with no option really but to
follow through and simply throw good money away.
Is there anyone who regulates how long people
have to be on hold or ploughing through menus before
they get to a human who either hasnt a clue what
they are on about, or if they do pass you on to someone
else who doesnt.
I have a computer, I am very computer literate,
it was my job for twenty five years,
but I cant understand why people who havent got a computer,
or who are used to using the phones, are getting
stung blind for having the audacity to ring up about
things, often faults which are causing them upset
and yet cost a lot to complain about.
I think all companies should only be
able to charge a nominal maximum amount until
you are connected to a humanoid, say one pound sterling,
and then until you have to actually utter something
hopefully erudite into the phone piece,
you should not be penalised pecunarily for pauses.
In other words, if they keep you hanging on,
its of no monetary benefit to them
and would probably lead to less friction
when people finally get connected as they
wont need a mortgage before making
their next call to give money to phone companies.
Surely it is also feasible allowing touch phones
put in a sequence of numbers to speed
through the menus to hit quickly
and send out lists of what their menus are,
how long they typically take
and how to send quickie number lists.
You cant very well boycott these sites
a that they are everywhere now and
b most of the worst offenders HAVE TO BE CALLED ON
A REGULAR BASIS viz Gas Electrics Water.
A captive paying audience with no real alternative option
in many cases but to phone and pay out through the nose.



I think the transport system should be made to
work efficiently and the situation with the phones should
bear serious investigation, someone is making
serious money out of a road repairs taking an age plus
b telephone systems keeping us on hold for
unacceptable amounts of expensive time.

When this war now is over, presumably the price of petrol
in Europe The West will
be a lot lower. Hardly likely.
But the cost price will be.
Our cost price affects everyone in this country
as the base price of all goods is dependant
upon the prevailing cost of a gallon of fuel.

Thought two.

There seems to be colossal amounts of litter in Britain.
Also why is it totally Britain now, many forms I
encounter have no place on them for ENGLISH SCOTTISH
WELSH or IRISH. It is all very well being politically
correct, but in a way that is discriminating against
the original indigenous population of that island.
Perhaps that is why it says Britain on the forms now
too instead of Great Britain.

To come back to the litter, surely foreign visitors
must be even more shocked than I am as I guess to
a certain extent I suppose that I am somewhat inured to it
a little on a day to every day familiarisation package.
There are supposed to be dire penalties for littering, but
it seems all you see is people throwing litter on the
floor and expecting someone else to pick it all up.
I sound like Victor, I cant believe it but now I really do.
Im only fifty and have this fairly even way about me
so for me to get a little peeved probably
means there is some valediction in what ever I comment on.

Thoughts 3.


Traffic lights.
Just a line or two much on the subject of used fuel
is government tax fuel. Why are traffic lights seemingly always
against even at night on main roads, and why do they STAY ON RED
so long BOTH WAYS. I dont know if it is me, but I am pretty sure
in the last year the delay on traffic lights has increased a great deal to
what it was before, and I seem to be getting caught at lights out at night more too.
